Only 6'8" 295, maybe he'll grow a little his senior year in high school.

Only? Homeboy will definitely thicken up a bit. He's still young.

What's with all the BYU fans lately that think that the size and weight these kids are during their junior and senior years is the max that they'll ever reach. People have questioned the offers to quite a few of them lately like Kuresa, Phillips, some other OL commits and now Lindsay.

Futhermore, in Lindsay's case, that's almost the ideal dimensions for a college or pro NFL tackle if those are his legit physicals. 300-315 would be the ideal weight for someone of his height. And Braden Brown (thanks to JP) has shown how OTs at BYU can get up to the ideal playing weight without adding the traditional BYU "spare tire" around their midsection.

I took prov1's comment to be TIC. Maybe it wasn't, I'll take 6'8" 295 anyday. Cannon center style eating combined with taekwondave's training will add 15-20 lbs of pure muscle in a week.

Now that I look at it again, I'm sure you're probably right. Sorry ProV1, it's just that for whatever reason lately, quite a few fans on the various cougar boards have questioned offers to some of these kids over their height or weight, when most of them have still been juniors or seniors in high school. That's why my first reflex to your TIC comment was what it was.

I use to work in the Cannon Center and I fed many a football player during my time and often the only muscle the food added was table muscle.

The slogan for the cafeteria was "If it's edible, it's incredible" or "Snarf and barf."

Another Davis High boy heading to BYU. SWEET. Love seeing my alma mater get kids to BYU. Bryan Kariya, the Fowler boys, Lindsay. Let;s hope he can sway his hteammate Troy Hinds to head to Provo as well. I love seeing BYU get the top kids in Utah. Utah may be PAC-12, but they are still not getting the kids in Utah that BYU really wants.

For the record, I'm 5'10" 175ish so this boy sounds roughly like Goliath to me. Absolutely I was joking. Left tackle to replace Reynolds?

All I know is that the OL recruits we have had the last 4 years have been MASSIVE. If they can move at all, we should have an awesome pass/run combo, because these guys are HUGE. Seriously, 6'4" is short in that group.
