Jimmer clearly had the better week, but rather than give the award for POTW to the guy whose school is leaving the conference the MWC decided to “split” the award. I suspect that we’ll be seeing a bunch of that this year…. :roll:

I'm really hoping BYU leaves the MWC conference soon. ;)

How does this even compare?

South Padre Island Tournament MVP = 76 Classic Tournament MVP. They didn't look any further than that. They'd already found their justification to snub BYU.

UNLV played really well against VT and Chance was leading them. They looked improved to me so we will have some tough games against them this year. SDSU looked pretty good against GU too.

in all fairneess, Stanback had a great week.



also in all fairness, if the MWC were completely honest with this, Jimmer would win MVP literally 90% of the time for the rest of the season. Ain't gonna happen.

If unlv beats us in their home tourney, and home game, I heard that Hairy T has already decided to have co-players of the week and split it 5 ways with unlv.





He's also going to have a 5-way tie for sdsu but he knows BYU will beat them twice.
