WickchadI believe there were four plays replayed. The officials got two plays right and two plays wrong. 50% = F.
The replay officials should be 100% or have very good justification for saying there wasn't conclusive proof.
The plays they got right were Jacobsen's touchdown and Christopher's touchdown. They obviously got the Bradley fumble wrong and I think most Ute fans will also agree. They also missed the call where they said that Muelleman caught the ball on the sideline. He was juggling it as he went out, gained control before hitting the ground, but when he hit the ground the ball clearly moved. It should have been incomplete. We punted three plays later so that call didn't change much. We all know what happened after Bradley's fumble.
I think there was conclusive proof of an incomplete pass and the telecast clearly showed the ball move once he hit the ground. There were multiple angles showing Bradley's knee down and when you combine the shot from behind showing his knee down and the shot from the front you can see that the Utah player wasn't even beginning to pull on the ball before his knee was down.
I'd love to know what the heck these guys are looking at with the reviews. Are they seeing completely different shots from the telecast? If you had those plays reviewed by 100 replay officials 90 of them would have probably overturned both of the calls these guys got wrong.
If replays don't work then don't do them. I would rather move to the NFL rule and require the coach to challenge a play then have every play looked at.
