Mike Leach just upped the stakes

He is now suing ESPN, and the PR firm James hired to represent him and his son during the "Shedgate". Basically, claiming statements made on air were false and not retracted.

Good, Craig James should be tarred and feathered.

ESPN often baffles me. How they allow Craig James on air is still is a mystery. And the fact they let Craig James comment on the Cam Newton story at all is the height of stupidity. Craig James, after all, took illegal benefits while at SMU that led to the death penalty for their football team. Of course, that never gets mentioned, does it. ESPN often lacks journalistic standards on these types of cases.

Agree completely. Craig James should be recused from commenting on his son or on anything in college football that relates to pay for play. He is tainted goods.



If this gets James off the air, then it will be a good thing.

Be careful he could be calling some of our games next year. Don't want to make him upset.
