The University of Utah's next home game will be against BYU.



BYU's next home game will be against the University of Utah.



Could be the first time that has ever happened in the rivalry. Kinda crazy!

If BYU happens to lose on Saturday (heaven forbid), it gives us a quick opportunity to set things right again.



But yeah - I'd much prefer whooping them twice in a row. Next year we should be very good, so I'm expecting us to blow them out at home.

Nobody blows anybody out in this rivalry...but I'd love to see BYU do it!

It's only recently (starting with McBride, really) that we stopped blowing them out on a regular basis.



Of course, we also only started blowing them out on a regular basis with Lavell in charge, so take that for what it's worth. Before that, it was us getting blown out on a regular basis. For example, from '31-'37 we were outscored 200-6. Ouch.



All it really takes is for us to get the Dr. Jekyll team that loses to UNLV 27-0 instead of the Mr. Hyde team that beats #2 Alabama in the Sugar bowl, and it WILL be a blow out. When a team lives by emotional play, it also occasionally dies by it.
