On side note... The final score was 78-72 according to box score, Jay drew alluded to this as well... Did they accidentally give them 2 at the end to their score or did they have a phantom 2 points down the stretch when it was a bit closer?

They hit a shot driving in on the baseline, but stepped out of bounds first. The refs counted it as a turnover, but the scoreboard counted the shot (only to be corrected later).

I really hope that BYU didn't have the sign and that the picture was photo-shopped. It's kind low and classeless. Funny, yes, but somewhat inapporpriate. We don't need to be sore winners like USU are sore losers.

2 things about this. First, I can guarantee you that this was not a "BYU approved" message. I'm sure it was some student employee who thought it would be funny. Second, it was not posted up there the second the game was over. It was posted 10-15 minutes afterwards. There was literally less then a thousand people in the MC at the time.



Utah State wanted so bad to be rivals with BYU and now that they finally got some smack directed their way they are whining about it.

trust me, whether we did that or not, usu will always find something to whine about regarding byu. they absolutely hate byu up there. i went there for my freshman year. they have some serious byu resentment issues.

Yeah, you're not kidding. Utah hates us for a lot of the same reasons we hate them, but USU hates us because we hardly know they exist. They keep ranting about this being a rivalry. I think they have some reasons for thinking so: we're both in Utah, for example. But I think it would be safe to assume that the majority of Cougar fans, when asked what they think about Utah State, they're generally apathetic and often express quite a bit of pity for them. We are AWARE that they are a good basketball team and that beating them says a lot about where our program is but we don't go on holiday after beating them like we do when we beat Utah. We don't jump and scream for hours in elation. We simply say, "Okay. We're pretty good this year. Let's keep it up." And they hate that.

What CRACKS ME UP is hearing them ACTUALLY say that beating them in basketball is our SUPER BOWL :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I honestly do not see how this Jumbo-tron thing is any worse then seeing, with my own eyes, them selling "Win or lose you still live in Provo" t-shirts. They were being sold in the stadium which means they had to be approved right? And everybody had one on!

K, I don't live in Utah, but I've visited often, and from what I can tell/see... Provo >>>>> Logan. So I've really never understood those t-shirts.
