Just watched a good portion of the NM-Arizona State game. NM owned AS the whole time I watched, they look fast, but their defense is the best I've seen so far after watching about a dozen games. I mean very solid, I don't know how BYU could beat that, of course AS shot 20% in the 8 minutes I watched.





SD is playing Gonzaga, our future rivals. I can't believe how freakin' small Zags building is. WIll BYU fans get to even go? There's like 200 seats there. They are having a good game SDS led the whole time I watched the first half. If SD played NM at SD, I'd pick NM.





I have to remind myself other teams improve, but I've got BYU standards up way high, can't wait for the US game tomorrow and again Sat.

I just hope I can watch the game tomorrow, I don't think BYU wlll lose, but I do wish we saved our home sell-out card for this game. I haven't heard anything about attendance numbers, hopefully fans are loud for this one. I think big conference games will be attended well just hoping to kill aggies tomorrow.

I stayed up to watch SDSU and they were way tough. White took over in the 2nd half and made every play he attempted. I think we will continue to handle them, but we can blow them out if we just clear the defensive boards consistently.



ASU hasn't been good since Harden graduated so beating them isn't all that impressive, but hey UNM is a solid team and the burden is on us to prove we are better since they swept us last year.

I thought both UNM and SDSU looked very good and looked like they're going to be VERY tough matchups for BYU.

I don't know if our zone agains SDSU will work this year. They were making their 3's.
