Even Regis and Kelly can't figure out who the "utes" are

starts at a minute and a half. i thought it was funny when kelly is like "yewts?" Regis rubbing it in that the yewts got smacked down.

I'd love to see this one spliced together with Lee Corso's comments over the backdrop of Ute lowlights from the last few games. That would be a killer video clip if someone could make it happen.

I especially love that even after discussing it between each other and someone off screen, they come to the conclusion that a Ute is some kind of animal. I gotta think any native americans watching probably aren't the biggest Regis and Kelly fans anymore.

I don't know if I should laugh or feel embarrassed for Regis and Kelly for insulting an insular minority... very awkward. Having working in live TV, I can image the producer holding his head in his hands somewhere back in the control room. But he's probably used to doing that...

I would agree with you if it were pure ignorance on their part. i think they honestly thought a ute was a goat and didn't know what the utah mascot was. i mean seriously, can anybody here tell me what the utah mascot is? is it a pirate, bird, indian????
