I've heard that they (the producers) had some good friends that were LDS which is why they use LDS stuff so much. :sulk:

the South Park guys are actually pretty soft on Mormons. They poke fun at us, but they also do some "supportive" stuff (granted it's all comedy - so I'm not sure how seriously they are about any of it). Trey Parker seems more fascinated by Mormon CULTURE than he does the actual RELIGION.



South Park may make fun of "holy" things, but I've never gotten the impression that they do so in a serious or malicious way. That doesn't justify it... but to me, they will be in less crap with God than those who truly do hate religion and hate God, and do all they can do tear it down.
