Heaps to Ashworth

How great is it that Heaps and Ashworth are finally playing like they are. Almost makes me forget the dumb arguments that I read (and participated in) around here. Ashworth has looked fast and confident the last couple weeks. He's been a game changer lately.



Heaps has also looked confident and has made some absolutely beautiful throws. He is playing a different game these days. Good for both of them. Here's hoping they continue their symbiotic ways for at least another month!

It's nice to see Heaps and Ashworth out there having fun. A few weeks ago, "fun" was the last word I would use to describe anything going on offensively. At the end of the day, football is just a game, and if you can't have fun doing it, you shouldn't be trying. Nice to see that ingredient back in play.

I did notice a couple throws by Heaps that wasn't exactly on target BUT the improvement was in Ashworth making the adjustments and bringing the ball in. One that comes to mind was a TD that Ashworth made a finger tip catch.



As Sno said... It was even fun to watch these men show up and represent who we are!

Pretty much any qb in any game is going to have throws that are off. Glad to see so few off throws and some great receiver adjustments and battles for the ball.
