NC chances for TCU up in smoke this weekend?

Oregon State has about a 5% shot to go bowling now and that was TCUs supposed big OOC game (they'd have to win 2 of 3 vs stanford, oregon and usc)



Utah gets creamed by a terrible Notre Dame team



They really need Baylor and SMU to win out and for Oregon State to somehow redeem their season, or they might just end up with as bad a schedule as Boise. (BSU beat Va Tech and has Nevada coming up)

Auburn struggling and Cam Newton will be ineligible soon, so that's a good thing for the toads.

It comes down to what SDSU does the rest of the season. They lost a 3 pointer to Mizzou on the road and a 5 pointer to TCU. I think SDSU is every bit as good as Nevada and should be counted as a solid win for TCU.

SDSU should win against UNLV for their last game. It would be great if SDSU wins next week against Utah. If SDSU wins out, they should be top 30 team end of season, IMO.

Oregon eked out a two point victory over Cal, a team not as good as SDSU IMO. How will this affect their ranking?

Not a bit. Oregon will be lauded for their tough win in a hostile environment, TCU will be blasted for letting SDSU stay in the game.

Isnt this the same Cal team that Nevada destroyed earlier this season?

I still beileive that TCU and BSU have no chance. And I heard some of the pundits already starting with, well if Auburn loses to ala and then in the SEC champ game LSU has played well and would probably jump TCU and BSU... yada yada. Same for Neb and Wisc. TCU and BSU won't get in as long as there are two one loss BCS teams left standing. Chances are that Auburn stumbles vs Ala but beats SC in the champ and still goes to the NC game. And Ore will most likely win out. If they don't, I expect Wisc or Neb to get the NC bid. They will do what they need to do to get non-AQ teams out of the NC game.

Agree. That's why they have a bcs . . . And to make themselves lots of money.
