Last week I missed the game, but was able to listen to it on the radio. During the game after we scored a TD(I believe), I honestly thought I heard Greg Wrubell say Brandon Doman was calling the plays.



Was I hearing things OR was Doman really calling some plays???

if he was I think we'd have heard more about it by now. But who knows.

I was listening to it on ksl too and I never heard that. They commented on Brandon chest bumping the defense at half time though.

I don't remember hearing that. I'm sure it would have come up in the post game as well if it had happened.

I heard them say Lark audible out of a play - so I guess he didn't like the play calling either but took it upon himself to do something about it.

Yes, he did appear to audible. But Is he so brash he would oppose Anae

? or did he recognize a defense he didn't like?

I listen to KSL for every game and watch them on TV (or at the stadium) but no, Greg didn't say that Doman was calling the plays. It was still Anae.

That's what I get for talking during the game.

It did however appear that Heaps was doing A LOT of audibles to change plays.

From what I have heard, Coach Anae is still calling plays, but other coaches are involved in game planning now, specifically Coach Doman. And BM has told Anae to stick to the game plan, which has been an issue for him in the past and this year. Supposedly that has been an issue for Anae for a few years, and BM clamped down on him and it seems to have worked. The game plans are working, and play calling is not diverting from the plan.

Wait. So now we want him to stick to the gameplan? I thought Anae's problem was he didn't adapt the game plan? He refused to change it against Florida St, TCU and in other losses, but now we don't want him to change? I'm so confused.
