Would BYU win the Big East in 2010?

Pitt is Awful and is currently the first place Big east team. Can't believe Uconn hasn't put this game away. I think BYU would definitely contend for the Big LEAST title this year, don't know if it would mean much though.

It depends on when we played our conference games and who we played OOC. If Bronco took over the D before the meat of our conference games, then yes. Otherwise, no.

Yeah, so if we played our OOC games all first, lost, calling attention to our poor D, Bronco would take over the D and we would win most, if not all, of our conference games, which would be enough to win the Big East this year. So, yes, our current team and coaches would most likely win the Big East this year.

If we were playing the way we are now? Very possible.



If we had the stupid 2-QB system and began the season we did this year? No.

And in 2009 and 2008 and 2007 and 2006.

Yes, we definitely win the Big East. If we win out, we'll probably tie for 2nd in the MWC. How many of us saw THAT happening when we were sitting at 1-4 with TCU and Utah still to play? Tied for 2nd in a conference that recently had two top 5 teams is better than anything any team in the Big East has ever done, maybe barring only WVU's spanking of Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.

Syracuse

South Florida

Conn

Louisville

West Vir

Rutgers

Cincinnati



Pitt lost to Utah

We will beat Utah

Syracuse Lost to Washington

We beat Washington (when we were bad)

South Florida Lost to Syracuse

Connecticutt hasn't won a road game all year

Neither have we, however, we will and they won't

Louisville lost to Pitt

WV lost to Syracuse and Conn

Rutgers is Rutgers

and Cincinnati lost to Fresno State



We might not win the Big East, but we would certainly be in contention at this point in the season and we would probably have gone undefeated in prior years.

At first I thought no, then realized in the BE, there are only 7 conference games and no TCU. BYU would be 3-1 in conference, tied with Pitt (theoretically), and playing stronger as the season progresses so YES, they would win the BE this season. At least be as likely as any team to win it.
