Awesome!. I have a guy in my department that's a big Ute fan and he said he hopes that the Pukes never again have a Black-out game because thus far they have not had much luck with them. I'm still smiling about this game mid week. For someone that lives in Utah they would understand. It almost has been the same feeling of seeing us beat the SNOTs 3 of the last 4 years--but not quite. All the Puke fans have been down-trodden and quiet. It's been great!

I love listening to local sports radio the last 2 days. pUke fans calling in and wondering if they are going to win any of the rest of their games. Where last week they were talking National Championship or Rose Bowl. Plus last week the Wasatch front was just covered in pUke flags and stickers but this week? Nothing. It's back to the normal Y flags and stickers everywhere.

I can understand somewhat of what you say, but 2006 is hard to compare to as we finally won after having lost 4 games in a row to the SNOT and one being that 0-3 loss that snapped our NCAA game scoring record that went all the way back to the 70's. My 7-week granddaughter died at half-time of that 2006 game while we held her and watched the game (it was 7 weeks longer that we had been told that we should expect her to live), so that game is hard to beat. This year being probably the last time we ever play a conference game together does hold some special meaning though.

I think the more arrogant, cocky, and disrespectful the :utard:'s are, the more sweet it makes victory. Since the Yewts have only gotten worse year by year, it only seems to be making victory sweeter and sweeter.

No Kidding! if a 6-5 BYU team went up on the hill and punked a 10-1 or 9-2 ute team, it would be awesome.

I remember you sharing that story on TBS/scout.com. I still have it saved on my computer at home. Very touching story indeed. It was hard reading that one without shedding a tear or two. One tear for your family and granddaughter...the other tear for the win over the Yewts.
