BoiseBYUBottom Five is in shock and disarray: NM won and they did it without Ms. Lambert. But that's Ok we had some really losing efforts to take note of this week!
5. Lost the most personally: Jake Lockler. First round pick? Maybe but I don't think so. Bad season, bad play, broken ribs, less money, no bowl.
4. Lost the team a long time ago: Dan Hawkins (see # 1 below)
3. Lost and simply can't be found: Idaho Vandals' defensive coordinator. Vandals gave up 844 yards of offense to UNR. And as far as I can tell that was withuot any cheating needing to be done by WolfPukes. 844 yards!
2. SEC takes on the powerhouses! Auburn beat Chattanoga 62-24 and Georgia takes on the fearless Idaho State Bengals winning 55-7.
1. Colorado. Up 45-17 to lowly and inept Kansas (the team that lost to North Dakota 6 - 3) the Buffs proceed to give up 35 unanswered points in 12 minutes and lose to now go 0 -5 in Big 12 play. Hawkins is now the all time losingest (is that a word) coach in CO history.
Honorable mention: Big 12 happier than ever to have PAC 10 take CO. PAC 10 lawyers looking into lemon law or three day right to cancel laws for relief.
It really sucks to be BSU. With TCU ahead in the BCS standings, BSU now penciled in for the End the World of Hunger Bowl (or whatever it is called--who cares?!?) in SF (formerly the Emerald Bowl) Ouch! Longest win streak in nation with the same team that beat both TCU and Oregon last year and this is their reward....
