BYUTX passing bar=BYU passing ball?

I found out that I passed the Texas Bar Exam today! Woo hoo!

Now it's time for Jake Heaps and the crew the pass the ball!!!

Congrats! I would love nothing more to see that you passing the bar in TX equates to BYU's passing game starting to click. Nothing would make my weekend better.

Congrats, now you guys can start cutting back on home teaching and needn't help EVERYONE in the ward move and assist at the Bishop's Storehouse in an attempt to gain the needed divine assistance in bar passage... :whistle: :lol:

Congratulations. I know my daughter was elated when she passed the California Bar. My son is applying to Law School as we speak - this may give him hope. I guess the real worry these days is a job. Hopefully you have that all worked out.

But since we are equating passing to passing

Were you 1 of 1 with a score - or 1 of 2 with the score? Any picks, drops or bad play calling? Did you have a solid supporitng crew or have to carry it on your own shoulders. But most importantly, did you capture your heart and soul and work hard and earn your stripes and learn positoin mastery and EXECUTE and flip tires on weekends?

I passed gas today, isn't that about the same?

Not knocking lawyers since I have a son in law school, but I'm kind of with hawkwing and really excited about another pair of lawyers in the world. I didn't know there to be that many lawyers on this board. I suspected as much at TBS.

Solo as in no veteran attorney to hold my hand. I'll be general counsel for the same oil/gas company I worked with before law school.

I'm in your club. I started law school but it came down to having kids or paying tuition (basically it was between paying Doctors or paying Lawyers :)). Needless to say I feel no regret and I think I much more enjoy hugging my five kids when I go home at night than I would have felt glancing to see the Law degree and the law license on the wall.
