Anae = Shanahan?

Both have struggled since they lost their all-time greats? Pitta, Hall and Unga for Anae; Elway and Davis for Shanahan.

Except Shanahan has 2 SB rings. Anae has nothing close to that, unless you count MWC titles the same as a Super Bowl.

Right, but Shanahan was an "offensive genius" when he had John Elway and Terrell Davis. Granted, I don't think that label has been placed on Anae, but I think there are some similarities. Shanahan hasn't had near the success since those two retired.

And he was the offensive coordinator who helped Steve Young win a Super Bowl as a starter.

HE actually won with teh Raiders before Al davis ran him off for not throwing enough bombs.



Seriously, Al Davis should hire Anae. He'll call a million corner fade routes a game for Al. And he'll be smart about it and throw them to the short guys.

The college equivalent of a Super Bowl... Anae has a college "Super Bowl" ring. Well... Probably more a certificate. Whatever they handed out to college players when they win a National Championship back in '84.
