BYU-Utah tickets

Just got the cofirm email from the BYU ticket office that I will be getting tickets this year in the BYU block. SWEET! Anyone else planning on going?



I do not expect a happy day, but I am glad I get to go. Last BYU-Utah game I attended at RES was under Crowton, and I think he played 3 QBs in that game, including Pendleton. Was awful.

Not to contradict what you are remembering but Crowton only went to utah in 2002 and 2004 and in 2002 Berry played the whole game, and in 2004 Beck played the whole game. Hey may have used Pendleton in a wildcat type of formation in 2002 but I don't remember that if he did.

Wow, I thought Crowton was done with the QB carousel by the time he got to Berry.

A bad as it was, still threw for near 240 yards, with 20-34. I'd take that this year....

In all seriousness, I hope you have a good time. I don't like hearing stories about ill treatment, etc.

If they had instant replay we would have won the game. They said that Pendleton fumbled on the goal line and gave the ball to Utah. The instant replay would have clearly shown he was down before the ball came out and I think he made it into the end zone anyway. Also on the last play of the game a ute defender grabbed Engemann's jersey and the ref blew the play dead saying he was in the grasp even though Engemann easily broke away from the defender as the defender fell down.

We also would have won the game if the Ball hadn't slipped out of Berry's hand Before a hand off ot a RB which utah recovered. It was on the goal line and I am sure BYU would have gotten 3 points out of that at the worst. BYU was snake bit that year and the utah game was the epitome of that. That Berry fumble was one of the worst I have ever seen.

I have been to 4 or 5 BYU-Utah games at RES and have never had an issue. Having said that I have not been to a game there since 2002, and the rivalry has changed since then. But I expect a good time. I suspect Utah fans will be happy and more focused on taunting BYU and Max Hall than me. I have had a couple Utah fans around me at every BYU-Utah game at LES for years and there is never an issue at all. Just good natured banter. I expect the same this year.

Are you a Cougar Club member? How long ago did you request tickets?



There wasn't even a chance of getting tickets through BYU to the game in 2008 so I assumed they wouldn't be available this year. I'm just a season ticket holder so I don't know if I would have a chance at getting tickets.

I am CC for the last 2 years, but season tickets the last 9 seasons. Got an email on this, and I think the deadline is tonight. So if you want tickets, go apply at byutickets.com.



I think the order is based upon donations. So Legacy gets first crack, then Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc CougarClub, then season ticket holders, then general public. I am bronze level CC, and I got 4. So some might be available.

I just got an email from the BYU Ticket Office saying tickets are still available in the BYU block for this game. $65 each. Come enjoy a chance to see blow up dolls, beer pouring, and a football game.
