mizzoucougB - the lone consistent bright spot on D, although the tackling and pursuit in the AFA game were just atrocious. They have broken up more passes than any D I've seen in a while in Provo.

They have held their own through this disgraceful season better than any other unit. They had no help during the Hill era of this season, often being left to chase their man in coverage for 5 seconds because there was no pressure on the QB.
Under Bronco they are even better.....except for getting toasted 4 times when we blitzed against TCU.

ItalicsThis would be another B- if I had the choice... so I went with a B.
And again, the turnaround that we've seen in them since Bronco took over the defense is mainly responsible for me not giving them a C.
Their pursuits and tackling have improved IMMENSELY since the Air Force and FSU games. They've also done a decent job at breaking up passes.

blue42B.... I flirted with giving them an A but remembered the group looking lost in the first half of the UW game, they brought it together in the second half, and throw in the AF debacle, other than that they have been playing extremely well. I love the open field tackling of Logan and Eason and the reckless abandon that Rich plays every down. Although Logan got burned and bit hard on the fake WR screen on Wyomings last touchdown drive, but other than that I think they are the only squad along with the RB's that give everything each down.
