ETA to Max Hall? (i.e. sick of the negative nellies)

If Max manages to help Az win today... someone is going to start thinking movie script. Should be fun to see (and a nice diversion from the dark clouds on this forum)

They just said in the Chiefs game that going forward after this week, that only the Arizona Cardinals have than easier strength of schedule going forward. (their future opponents have a .373 winning %, the Chiefs opponents .407)



It's entirely possible that Max gets to the playoffs :)

I haven't followed the nfl in recent years, but looking to watch the colts and Arizona past few weeks and it seems there really aren't that many NFL games on tv to watch. Are they all on pay per view or special packages now?

Yeah I was just thinking the same thing. The ESPN's and NFL network seem to get no games on Sundays. You're lucky to find more than one or two games on the locals. Kinda sucks, oh well.

The NFL network rarely shows games live. The rare occations are on non-traditional game days like Thursdays or Saturdays. The broadcasting is the same as it has always been. CBS and Fox have the rights to the Sunday afternoon games. There are three games shown each Sunday afternoon and CBS and Fox alternate weeks for being able to show two games. NBC gets to show one game on Sunday night. ESPN gets to show the Monday night football games.



So you get five NFL games on TV unless you by NFL Sunday ticket which is only offered buy DirecTV. Plus the broadcasts are regional so if you live in Utah you better be a Bronco's fan because they are on every week.

Probably won't ever happen. Everyone assumes that SLC wouldn't be able to fill up an 80,000 seat stadium on Sundays. The Jazz don't even schedule regular season home games on Sunday and they only need to fill a 17,000 seat arena.

Seattle / Az is on Fox in KC. So far max hasn't played well but the Az D has done enough to make this game winnable.



It's raining and Max isn't making good throws... right now he wishes he was better than .500 completion in wet weather (something Heaps accomplished without Larry Fitzgerald) ;)

Hmm, watching the Cardinals reminds me of watching BYU....



- Rookie QB who doesn't get much help from his offense

- Bad offense with a great defense that keeps them in games

- A team that - despite not being that great - has a good shot at making the post-season due to playing in a crappy conference

Short answer - No. Will not happen.

Long answer - because they could not fill a stadium regularly. A SLC team would have to build an indoor stadium - added expense - would need to sell bonds to the public inorder tho raise the 1oo's of millions to do so. Probably wouldn't happern.



Also - Los Angeles - a major media market - has been without an NFL team since 1995 when the Rams went to St. Louis. If L.A. could not get an NFL team for 15 years, how long do you think it would SLC to get a team after the "really" started trying????? It could happen, but I doubt it.

Seattle/AZ on in KC, but not in SLC. Makes no sense!



When the 49ers were winners, they were on every week in SLC.

When Collie started playing for the Colts they were on every week in SLC. Though this year, they've been hard to find.

I don't understand why the Cards aren't getting air time in SLC.



Some programmer is looking at highway miles, not fan affinity. How many eyeballs are looking to see :utard: Zane Beadles platoon on the O line vs 8) Max running the show?

Max played poorly and apparently was pulled out as a consequence - all rainy droppw excuses aside - his replacement played better this week.

Why would SLC need an indoor stadium? Is SLC that much colder than Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, or Buffalo? I know it's not colder than Green Bay.



I just don't think that Salt Lake City has 65,000+ people willing to pay for NFL tickets.

anderson had 1 good throw to a guy wide open down the middle. Max takes the sack and anderson just throws it up. Anderson should have been picked like 3 times but Seahawks dropped it. Cards line cant pass or run block at all. O well see what happens from here.

I think that concussion put him out of his misery. He struggled with that wet ball all game long.
