Collie out "a couple of weeks" after surgery?

An ESPN story talking about Dallas Clark mentioned that Austin has had surgery on his hand, and will be out several weeks.



Had anyone heard about him hurting his hand, either during the Washington game or earlier?

I knew he was having foot problems for the last few weeks, surprised to hear about hand surgery.



This really hurts my fantasy football team.

It is too bad because he was having an awesome year. Of course the sad thing is that even with a bad thumb he was still a more reliable receiver than Pierre Garcon.

Did anyone know he was having hand troubles? I didn't even know he was hurt.

I'm pretty sure the announcers at Sunday's game commented on his fortitude for playing injured and said surgery was a possibility. I think it was during Indianapolis' first possession whe they also mentioned Clark and Garcon being less than 100%

Well... it wasn't his leg; but apparently Mars' prayers have been answered. He can now resume his previous fast offering amount.
