Silver Linings

Here's a few following the TCU game:

- We came out of the game healthy, the only injury is to Carter Mees - who while he played relatively well, hadn't been a contributor to this point.

- We don't face a senior QB next week - for the first time this season.

- We play Wyoming next week week who has a worse defense than we do.

- TCU's three sacks were the fewest we allowed since 2007.

- TCU's 108 yards rushing were their fewest against us under Bronco.

- The struggles of this year will make the future successes that much more sweet.



I've been a season seat holder for Real Salt Lake since the first year. I went to the unveiling of the team's name in late 2004. I went to the press confernece where Jason Kreis was announced as the team's first player. I've followed them since inception. I sat in Rice-Eccles Stadium, cheering on the team wearing red. I saw them reach historic lows in goals allowed. I saw RSL be the laughing stock of the league.



I watched RSL needing to have seven games go their way just to make the playoffs last year. I watched get hot and win the MLS Cup last year and celebrated jubilantly. RSL is now the best team in the league. We had a sellout last night and many fans who were there, were there only because the team is dominant and winning.



It's been a lot of fun know I've been there from the beginning. I went through all the struggles and it's made this current season that much more enjoyable.



Right now, BYU is RSL in early 2007. RSL fired their coach and made their best player the coach, it wasn't much fun to go to games. But the ground work was being laid for a great team.



Give it time, be patient. The results will come.
