The bowl, that is, if we win our next 4 games...



"Representatives from the Independence Bowl were on hand at Saturday's game. This year's Independence Bowl pits the third selection from the Mountain West Conference against the seventh selection from the Atlantic Coast Conference. The game is set for Dec. 27. It is played at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, La., and will be broadcast by ESPN."

They were good enough to beat Navy. Their defense shut down the option as far as scoring in that game.

I don't see anything pretty coming out of playing another middling ACC team. I'll take no bowl appearance over another embarassing bowl loss.
