An(ae)y hope of going to a bowl left?

Air Force is Down 18-20 with 2 minutes, SD has the ball. I'm shocked.



I'm really hoping BYU goes bowling and gets into the stadium that will have 1 sell-out this year being the actual bowl (Helicopter in Ft. Worth). Since I get back from England and land in Dallas just before the game and would miss any other bowl.



Does AF losing help or hurt? I can't recall the bowl picking, I'm assuming that if we can get An(ae)y offensive touchdowns that we'll barely make it to a bowl game and whoever has picks would take BYU over any AF team, so where would a 6-6 Y team go?

We would have to get to 7-5 which seems unlikely as the Pukes stand in our way. No sane bowl committee would take us after watching our offense.

Some bowl will take BYU @ 6-6. Fans travel. And it will appear that the 2nd half of the season looked much better--almost like we were surging (assuming we can fin an offense.

BYU will be taken at 6-6, which we have a decent chance of getting to, if the offense can get some things turned around.

I think most bowls know that BYU brings more than most teams available to their bowls and would take BYU in a heartbeat.

We were hoping (should I say wishing upon a star) to win this game, but most of us didn't expect it to happen. As long as we can beat the bottom dwellers, we'll still go bowling.

Like I posted a few weeks ago I read an article but cant remember where it was that There are going to be more bowls than bowl eligible teams this year because of the problems USC and a couple other teams are having with NCAA sanctions/discipline. A 6-6 BYU will bowl somewhere for what its worth and frankly at this point I will consider 6-6 a success this year(almost spelled it suckcess in honor of the other thread I just read).
