Anyone Watching the BC/FSU Game?

This is all the evidence you need that a good game plan applied for a specific team can work wonders.

Boston College is an awful this year and they are giving FSU a run for their money. The announcers keep talking about how BC's game plan for Ponder has really contained him, and that the usually stellar Criminole O-line is getting pushed around and manipulated quite a bit.

Dang - FSU just got a HUGE break. A Pic 6 turned into a first down for them due to a stupid penalty.

But it's impossible for a coach to gameplan better than another coach since all coaches watch game film and are aware of their next opponent. Haven't you read anything on this board?

Oh yes... what was I thinking!? :lol:

Good game, BC should have confidence, Y should gameplan like they did.

Where is this game being played? Is it over yet? Could be a factor if they are on the road or if they make half-time adjustments.



For some reason it seems harder to game-plan for road games several time zones away. I wouldn't schedule those games if I were the AD.

I decided to go look since this thread went dead. BC forgot to game plan the 4th quarter and probably did not lose their starting QB, have to turn it over to a true freshman QB, yet they still lost.



Maybe FSU is good enough to win even on an off day for them and a surprisingly good effort by a mediocre opponent.

BYU wasn't containing anyone that game. Not Ponder, the WRs the RBs, nothing. All this says to me is that BC would probably beat BYU. Which I don't doubt at this point.
