5. USC secondary. Two weeks in a row collapse in the final minutes and lose game for team. Hey Coach Hill, think I know a position you might be able to fill. Speaking of USC, does Kiffin look like a little lost teenage boy? Seriously! I don't even think the kid needs to shave yet.



4. Texas Rangers. These guys have NEVER won a post season home game. Ever.



3. Who is worse--4.9ers, Carolina Puppies, or Buffalo Shills? I think this week's salute goes to 4.9ers. Former Ute QB Alex Smith almost singlehandedly produced the loss for the 4.9ers. Laid back sometime stoned out of their minds 4.9er fans have never been so loug and boisterous in booing Smith.



2. Dwayne Wade's hammy. Out after 3 minutes in the first game. No big deal, though. The NBA does not get going until sometime around next April or May.



1. New Mexico. Gave up a last minute field goal to NMSU. Still no sign of Elizabeth Lambert and I'm telling you, she could have made the difference in the game....



Frontier Airlines gets an A for getting its name out by flying very close to LES. Unfortunately, the close flyby really ticked off a lot of people who won't be flying Frontier any more!



Only in Idaho--for School Superintendent we have one man who got his degree online in weights and measures, whatever the heck that means, and the other candidate who has a doctorate in education. The weights and measures guy is picked to win



P.S. We also have a state representative who stole timber off of state endowment lands to build his dream cabin. He is picked to win too

On #4, that's pretty funny that the Texas Rangers just won their first playoff series ever but have still yet to win a post season home game.

Or maybe Frontier just picked up a lot of potential customers who know that if they must fly during the game, at least Frontier will try to provide them with a good look into the stadium.

I can't help it. Please indulge me one more entry this week. There was this candidate who lost in the Repulican primaries in one of our Congressional races. He is undeterred and then ran as an independent. He even legally changed his name because he thought it would help the cause. The name he got a court to approve? Pro Life...That's right the dude's name is Pro Life. He thought it would be a can't miss move! Like I said, only in my beloved Idaho....
