Matt Marshall???

Obviously they were trying to keep SDSU off balance and this was a must-win for us, but Matt Marshall?



I heard that he's been running the scout team(does that mean he has more reps than Heaps?). My first thought was, why oh why, wasn't lark or Munns holding for kicks and I wonder what they feel about being relegated to 3 and 4th on the depth chart.



Obviously it's great the stunt worked, but if it hadn't, we'd be seriously questioning what he was doing out there. Also his pass, yes it was completed but it was such a floater it looked like he had thrown it underhanded.

He's been a beast on special teams and a monster in practice. Ran the Y with the best time and won the eco challenge. This kid has earned every minute that he's on the field.

Marshall played as an option QB at Skyline HS, so he's a natural fit for a wildcat (option really) look. It worked, too. SDSU looked completely surprised to see that look. He made some great pitches tonight.



His QB experience also showed in that pass on the fake FG.

Where have you been?? He's been holding kicks for two years.



Matt has been one of the only consistent contributors this year. He plays with a ton of heart and fire. His leadership on special teams this year cannot be underestimated. Bronco absolutely loves matt.



He's been in the program several years, came out of skyline high school where he played quarterback and led his team to the 5A state championship. He had a scholarship offer from Utah where both his brother and dad played (his dad actually played in the nfl).... He turned down the Utah scholarship for preferred walk on status at BYU and later earned a scholarship.

Are you kidding me !?!? that pass was awesome ... it was floating because he was getting lit up by a d lineman when he released it. But it got there right on the money for a first down. Great play.
