On the timing of a mid-season staff shakeup the coach said:



"There comes an internal clock, and if you're in tune with it, you really don't seek outside counsel. I've always tried to run this program independent of what others think, and do simply what I think is right at the right time for the program, for this institution, and for the (LDS) Church, collectively."



"When it comes to that, and it's clear in my own mind and more importantly in my own heart what I'm supposed to do, I do it, and that's what happened in this case."

His clock needs to speeed up a bit. He waits too long to make necessary changes.

Yeah, it is running on the metaphorical daylight savings time, when he needs to be neutral Arizona.

I agree with what many have been saying... it's sad and embarrassing that it's taken us a pathetic 1-4 start to NOW have some fire under our a$$es. Let's hope we see a victory this weekend, because if we lose then there's no chance at all we go to a bowl game (TCU and Yewtah will both be losses) Right now we're riding on a 6-6 season tops.
