Stand by our team!!!

Good morning all!

I see that I really wasn't having a nightmare last night! Its a little rough right now but it is no time to start ripping the players or coaches. They have to just get it together some what but all is not lost well not yet. We can not turn our backs if we are not here for the team then who will they be playing for? It has been a VERY rough beginning but I still think they can salvage whats left.

Maybe we should all start a pep rally every Friday before a game or something, as a fan base we need to formulate some kind of plan to show them that we are behind them. They might feel all is lost but if we show our full support maybe just maybe they will get the will to win back.

I don't know I am just trying to think what is broken and help fix it. I so wished I could be in Utah maybe they need a motivational speech from me, lol yeah right I am just a girl. But seriously lets not give up just yet we should still have faith.



Sidenote: I am still in the development stage of my catch it all device hopefully I can have a prototype SOON!!!!!! ;)

Very nice comments, it's hard for a lot of us because we don't have much experience being fans of teams that have struggled this poorly.

Linette, we love you! We REALLLLLY miss your son out there. We missed his swagger, his confidence, his blocking and his hands.

This is a true fan. My wife asked me why I was watching the game until the end. Because that is what real fans do. We support them because it is BYU not because they win games. Better times are coming. We just need to be patient.

Linette - once you finish the "catch it all device" - I wouldn't recommend giving it to Chambers, because at this point I think there are others who need it much more.



Right now it's not winning and losing that I'm so much worried about - but progress. Once we start seeing progress, I will begin worrying much less.

Linette, we love you on here and we root for our players like we support our troops, even when we don't like where their superiors send them or their reasons. It's really hard when he have players on our team as talented as we do (such as your son) but our record doesn't show it. As many of us have said, our coaches need to get a grip on things and take responsibility. Football players just do their best to do as they're told and taught so most of us try not to blame them as that would be pointless. It's the guys getting PAID to run this team where our frustrations lie. Don't worry, I'll be at every home game and cheering on our team, but my frustration with the coaching staff right now is at an all-time high.

try growing up in chi-town you get lots of practice at it...hahaha

I think he all need to remember a song we all sing "loyal strong and true, we wear the white and blue" some of us need to take that to heart. i dont care it the cougs go 0-12 iam still gonna be at every home game. So we have to be "loyal" to coaches that aren't making decisions that are loyal to who we are? If Anae called for punts on first down would you get after disloyal fans for complaining?

Actually, I don't know what you mean. Sometimes on here I have been RIDICULOUSLY optimistic. Preaching about how the faith of the fans really can make a difference and we just need to believe, etc, and lately I've sounded as sour as a lemon so...which ME are you referring to?

Wow, that's a great idea! It's probably just a pipe dream, but a huge grass roots rally this Friday on Campus would be awesome. I'd like to see everyone come together including fans and really treat this weekends game as a must win, though we may be a week too late.

Some how they gotta get a win. I think things start coming back together if they can just get over that hump.I am frustrated and concerned but not giving up on the team.
