Rock bottom...

...is really going to suck when we hit it in a couple more weeks.



You think lastnight was bad, just wait until we travel to ft worth to face the frogs, potentially (likely?) on a five game losing streak. After struggling to put up sixteen points on the mighty aggies, who thinks we'll score a point against the frogs?

We'll score in garbage time at the end. The final score will be 63-10. Something in that range.

TCU won't let up... I don't think that we won't score, but we will get stomped.

After the USU loss we are bumping along the bottom to be sure. If we lose to UNLV and/or New Mexico, then we will be past rock bottom. Expect "coaching changes" and an extended getting out of the hole into next year. This team will develop a "losing" mentality much like after the Crowton years and have to relearn how to win. Hows that for Rock bottom?

I'm guessing Lavell had a year or two like this, but it makes me wonder about the whole "Bronco is tired" possibility. He has said he will not coach as long as LaVell. I wonder if he felt he was riding the wave of four really good seasons and was just going to ride the wave of success and expect the same leadership among his players that he has been blessed with previously. And why 2 captains? C'mon. I know some have to earn that--but it looks silly during the coin flip. It looks weak. It looks ROCK BOTTOM!!
