Face the Music

We are the suckiest bunch of sucks to ever suck. Okay, maybe a little to harsh, but not by much.



This is the worst BYU team I have seen in my 22 years of watching every game. Even the Crowton years didn't start this bad. We lost Fuga and Pendelton and maybe Rich. Our offense couldn't score if the other team wasn't on the field.



I said all week that we would lose to USU and I am now looking like a @#&$^ genius!! It makes me sick when I am right about crap like this.



This team has lost all confidence and SDSU will now come in ready to destroy us. We will lose next week and might lose by 60 pts to TCU. There isn't a single guaranteed win on the schedule, including UNM, because this team doesn't believe anymore. We are done for this season and this team just might not recover.



Never been more embarrassed to be a BYU fan. Pathetic.

We're going to finish this season 4-8 :sick:



Our only wins will be against: Washington, UNLV, New Mexico, and Wyoming is a toss up. They played Air Force pretty good.



I'm still on the fence with Wyoming, and if we lost to them. We'll finish 3-9 :sick:



We're going to lose to: SDSU :bug: , @TCU :sulk: , @CSU :gross: , and @Utah :utard:

Easy northerncougar, it's just a game. I really just want to know WHY. Why are we so dang bad? We have what should be the best o-line in the conference. We have a lot of experience at WR and have always been able to effectively utilize our tight ends. We FINALLY have experience in the secondary, something that is rare for a BYU defense lately. We supposedly have better team speed on defense as a whole. But we don't fly around on defense. We go through the motions, only rushing four every single time. It's FRUSTRATING!!! Diondre Borel didn't have anyone within five yards of him all night no matter how long he stood back there.

I watched the game - in it's painful entirety. There are real problems w/ this team. Injuries have been devastating. It's going to get worse.



The #1 thing that shocked me tonight - By the end of the 3rd Qtr. - I yielded to the sickening feeling that USU was a better team - but as a whole had better athletes. Not every single USU athlete was better than every one of out guys. But as a team, as a whole, they were more cohesive, disciplined, energized, aggressive, and get this - on both side of the ball - USU made plays!!!!!



I still believe in Bronco. But - "we're not in Kansas any more Toto!" There is deep trouble in paradaise. Bronco & Staff must re-evaluate what they are doing - in every phase of their program. Starting with practices, game prep, recruiting, offensive schemes, etc!!!

I have no idea. I am in shock. I am truly worried about this year being a big embarassment with more blow outs and really hurting us for years to come.



Can't believe our bad luck. Unga, fuga, rich, pendleton. Receivers and oline are mediocre to bad. How are we this bad. What is going on behind doors with these guys.



I have no idea but I like to blame it on the two qb system and the circus it was.



I am glad its conference weekend. Need to get my mind off of this.

Agree with everything except that last line. Is BYU's lack of performance unfortunate? Yeah. Do we suck? Apparently. Is there a lack of motivation/heart/desire on the part of some of our players? I think so. Does any of that translate into personal embarrassment? Not really.

Things I'm tired of......



1. Not stopping the opponents on third down.

2. Not stopping the opponents of fourth down.

3. Not stopping the opponents run game.

4. Not stopping the opponents pass game.

5. Failure to make effective adjustments as the game goes on.

6. Having 5 solid 300+ Lbs. offensive lineman and can't get a touchdown or first down when 1 yard away.

7. Inability to run up the middle.

8. Inability to run around the end.

9. Receivers that can't catch a ball with some "heat" on it. If you sign the #1 QB, better be able to catch a hard pass.

10. Receivers that let up on the route that consequently results in an interception. If you're not going to catch it, please keep the opponent from intercepting it.

11. Allowing opponents to regularly convert 3rd and 18.

12. Watching Anae yell at the players, when the play call itself sucked.

13. A 2=3 team celebrating a win over a 1-4 team like they won the national championship.

14. Knowing the opponent could have left the punter home and not been any worse off.



Although our performance stunk, at least Jake got a lot of throws. He'll be able to watch film and learn. They should turn up the speed on the spinning tires that throw the football and make the receivers catch daily balls that come in at 40-50 mph. (I don't know how fast a football travels, but at least match Jake's speed).



Enough ranting for the evening.
