What positives came from the USU game?

I missed the first half. So I'm not too sure.



I'm curious what good things you guys seen?

The best thing I saw from this game is the clock ticking down to 0. There was NOTHING positive from this game. This team was horrible.

Why is what? that I loved seeing someone wearing a BYU uniform actually look like they wanted to be on the field? I dunno, I guess I consider myself a fan.

He looked fast and he picked a hole and hit it hard. Didn't do anything amazing today, but he was decisive and fast. Oh, and he didn't fumble.



P.S. McKay has definitely lost a step...looks slow out there.

Biggest positive of the game? THIS IS POST 100---I'm no longer a 'Recruit'!



For real though: Jake threw awesome passes all night long---too bad everyone was dropping them.

Positives:

1) Heaps got some great experience, made some great throws--too bad receivers can't catch them.

2) Falsev, yes, get Jacobson out of there, off the field, he's worthless

3) Kyle Van Noy made some nice plays on D, yes, leave him in, he's fast, tough, and actually tackles people.

It ended.

Tight ends collectively caught 3 passes for 55 yards

I thought we finally started to have long, extended drives in the 2nd half. The offense moved the ball and looked to be clicking at times. More times then the previous 3 games I thought.



Another positive is maybe some bandwagon fans will jump off the wagon. ;)

When we were moving the ball better in the second half, was that against their starters or backups?

I heard AND saw a few jump on the Aggies wagon after their win today. I sure am glad their stadium fills up when BYU comes to town :~(

I'm sorry, but that's not a positive for me. It needs to be way higher.



Our WR's need to put some tree sap on their hands. I don't care if it's illegal. We need all the help we can get.

Stephenson had a pretty darn good game punting....

There was one positive: Jake Heaps throws a great ball.. but the one series summed it up where two consecutive fantastic long passes to the endzone were dropped. The first by Suckworth and the other by Diluigi. The suckiness of our receivers was truly astounding.. and the just the lack of heart for just going for the ball. Seriouisly I'd take Rod Wilkerson in a heartbeat over Ashworth. But yeah, I thought Heaps was a positive. If we had playmaking WRs and an OC that had the balls to let Heaps loose, we would have won.

I loved when he tried to take that aggies' head off at the end of his first return. Hardest hit of the night came from our kick returner. Falslev has heart. Find ways to get him the damn ball now. Line how up at wr instead of ashworth.
