Still Love My Cougs

This team is not doing well. I will not defend them. But I love my Cougs. I guess it's time to hunker down with a year's supply of memories and hope!

I love them too. This point right now is a sad one for me, but still not as sad as Utah 3 - BYU 0 in a freezing blizzard.

Dang Hawk that was a bad one! I was at the BSU beat down in '04 also in a snow storm. That one hurt too! Bottom line: Right now I would NOT trade spots with a USU fan or a ute fan for that matter

if we didn't all love the Cougars, we wouldn't be on this forum right now or watching this game at this point.

I was at that game too, with a BSU fan/friend. Oiy.

Well said boisebyu...I still love these guys no matter what. Cougars always!

Me too, love my Cougs! I'm just looking forward to NBA basketball season more than I have since the Jazz went to back-to-back championships.

WAs at both of the above mentioned games. Ouch. Things will get better..... someday.

I'm new to sports. I've never experienced the point where fan loyalty becomes outright masochism. But I do believe this comes close.

Like the fans that wear paper bags on their heads, but still show for the games.

I watched every single Crowton game and told myself before each one "this is the game when we turn things around." I never gave up. I was even mad when Crowton was fired because I was convinced we were almost there.



I will always support the Cougs but my patience with crappy coaching is not as robust as it used to be.

I've loved BVU from the first moment I stepped on campus when in jr. high. It is a special place and am proud to be a BYU grad. I follow and support my team through thick and thin. Looks like this season is a thin one. I will root for them and watch for improvement along the way, but I am now consigned to a 3-9 season. I just don't see where BYU wins on the road and SDSU is perhaps the surprise team of the MWC this season.



The coaching staff has proved itself the past 4 seasons to keep my support for this season.



There is too much talent on the roster to repeat a season like this.

Amen I was doing the same thing. That was the time I started going to cougerblue to vent and find support. (before the trolls took control) When the cougs win I get on and look but I rarley post. But during the Crowton time I was posting non stop. I sure hope that this losing will not last, and I will not have to find support from this web site to get me thru the dark days that could possible be coming.



I will always support the cougs but dont think for a second I wont question what I see on the feild. Don't think I will stand back and pretend that everything is ok when it clearly is not. I will question the coaches and there play calling. And if I feel it needs to be done I will want coaching changes if that is what I feel needs to be done for the cougs to get back to winning ways. I will support the coaches for only so long. I believed in Crowton for far to long and I will not as a fan do the same again.
