UngoyThey've had some 1-3 starts in more recent history, but I believe their last 1-4 start was in 1973.
I'll freely admit that I cheated and glanced over schedules, in my hast, I may have missed one. I did know that it was before my time, just didn't know it was 10 years before my time. :)

Lawboy37 years ago--nearly 2 generations ago!! Pts a 1-4 start at BYU into perspective.
It happened to be LaVell's 2nd season and his ONLY losing year. Finished 5-6. Won the WAC the next year, too. Played in the Fiesta Bowl that year(1974).
