Is this the week we get to 30?

Just looking back at the last time BYU went 3 straight games without scoring 30 or more. Was not surprised to see it was 2004, and the first 4 games of that year. We also started 1-3 that year as well. We averaged 16/game through 4, game up 31/game. Very similar to our 28/game against, 15/for now. Game 5 that year we won at the road at CSU at finally scored over 30 when we won 31-21.



I like our chances to finally get to 30 Friday night, which means we win the game. It is time for this team to put it together. I think the coaches are putting the time in to get it done.

How many points did they give up to SDSU? I'll take the over. The rest of the season starts FRIDAY!

Ah, I guess I'll settle for that...

I think I am a little more optimistic about this game than most. I see this as a breakout game for BYU (breakout being used loosely based on this seasons lack of success...)



I think our offense will come together very well and the defense will rally around the adversity and loss of Fuga.

I'm thinking mid-20s. 24 - 27. I hope I'm wrong!

OU only got 31 on the Aggies. I pray for our season's sake that we get 30, but I think 24-28 is our ceiling barring a breakout offensive performance. That said, I think our D holds them to less than 24.

I am getting a tiny bit more optimistic about the Offense but a tiny bit more pessimistic about Defense. Just 1 point each way from my previous post.

30 what? If you are indicating 30 incomplete long fade passes then I will agree 100%



I think if Anae utilizes the middle routes more with the crossing WR or the TE down the seam, or the RB curl out of the back field I think 30 points is obtainable.
