How do we know the liar isn't lying right now?

It was obviously a lie, there is really no news here. Anyone with half a brain knew the move was reactionary to BYU bolting.

Notice once again an interview and you just can't get him to say the word BYU.

The interviewer uses the name BYU, but Hair never does. So was our our departure to independence really a surprise?

To wrap things up, BYU did its best to avoid going behind anyone's back. It told Thompson about its plans. In fact, BYU was tempted to try to work out a strong basketball conference in the WAC by going to SDSU with a proposal to jump together, but BYU refused to do so because it would be going behind the backs of the other member schools. TH is aware that by being this forthright, he left the door open for the WAC to be cut off at the knees.

And in other news... he admits that he still cries at night because we booed him when he presented us with the confernce trophy in 2006 ;)

I really do not care. The MWC is rear view mirror baby.......

He could barely get Hair to even admit that in adding an additional school in number to the MWC that it would logically lower the meager amount of TV revenue the teams will get. Little just became littlier. How shallow of a response to mention that they might get further revenue from BB. What a laugh.



I just don't understand why we get all the blame and Utah walks away untouched. Their action supposedly is what caused ours, so everyone should be PO'd at the Pukes for causing this (I'm not 100% convinced of that fact, it could have been that we would have eventually gone indy without Utah leaving). Yet folks are just upset with us because we saw the writing on the wall that has been there for some years.



Hair must be pulling his "hair" now with the talk of TCU being in discussions with Big East officials. This has had to have been in the works for some time as Coach Patterson mentioned when we went indy that something was coming down the pike and that's when these TCU to Big East rumors began.

i hope tcu leaves and goes to the big east. i can't see them turning that down despite hte obvious issues with it. they would dominate there and go bowling very often. it sets them up for a title run every year. stupid not to. that is assuming it doesn't completely disband coming up in the next few years. in bbal they would get killed but eventually get better given their location and given they are in the best bbal conference.



if tcu walked away, bsu would seriously be like, really, we just left our espn deal to come to the mountain. at taht point their decision looks like a huge mistake because without tcu, byu, or utah, the mwc is not better than the wac was.

Currently, BSU gets to broadcast their home games not picked up by ESPN. Wait until they are in the mtn. and can't do that anymore.

But, Versus and CBS college sports will cherry pick the best BSU games, which are not on the local cable or Dish Network, leaving BSU fans worse off than before.

I have Dish and I get both Versus and CBS C. But yeah Boise fans have no idea what their administration has gotten them into. There is a reason BYU left the MWC and the biggest reason was the MTN.

Hmm. Either the lawyer guy that posted his wrap up at the BYU sports law thing was incorrect about TH telling CT about independence plans or CT is just lying again about what he knew when.



I, too, get frustrated that nobody seems to blame Utah for any of this. Somehow their jump to the PAC is above reproach. I wonder how people will talk about TCU if they bolt for the Big East (I doubt this happens).
