SOS: BYU 4th, Utah 112

Utah only has a handful of teams with a weaker schedule than them. Us on the other hand, we only have three teams in all of college football that have a harder schedule than us.



There you go. No reason to be too down. If we have utah's schedule we would be ranked top 15 and 4-0. No questions asked.



Things are not as bad as they look.



We are going to beat utah and sdsu and then we are going to give tcu a run for their money.

I didn't know our SOS was that good. I think your right except we won't give TCU a run for their money. We will however give Utah more than they can handle and give them an upset.

The only reason our SOS is so good is because we lost to 3 teams on it. Had we won them all, our SOS nose dives because that gives 3 more losses to that group. Yes, they were good teams, but no, not world beaters at all. If we were 3-1, I bet our SOS would be more like 40th or so, and those are still the same teams either way. We just are down this year, and that is the fact of the matter.

I don't think that is the "only" reason. Nevada has destroyed everybody they played, except us. FSU is good and Air force is good. Every team we have played except for washington is in the top 30. while your point is valid its not the only reason. so if utah losses three on their schedule do they jump to top 10 in sos? No, because they teams they have played truly suck. Can't say that about us. Our sos changes if we win surely, but probably not as much as you think.

Drop from 4th to 40th if we won those? I disagree. Granted I'm not a number cruncher, but dropping that far, when three of our four opponents we played are ranked(Air Force, isn't but close).



I don't know. All I do know IS we will beat Utah St. this week? This is our holy week... General Conference.
