The top 4 teams have but 2 losses among them, both to ranked teams. Good showing for the MWC. TCU survived its annual rivalry game against an improving SMU. :utard: dispatched a bottom-tiered WAC team at home while AFA beat a border rival to go 2-0 in conference in taking down UW.
SDSU shellshocked USU to remind them that the top of the MWC still can handle the bottom of the WAC and BYU showed they are not the equal of the only other ranked team in the WAC.
CSU picked up a needed win against a decent Idaho squad, perhaps saving their coach's job. UNLV destroyed a hapless UNM squad, which will have a coaching change soon if this keeps up for UNM.
As mentioned, the top 4 MWC teams only have 2 losses while the bottom 5 only have 4 wins.
