Chambers was at Nevada- BYU

Heard the radio reporting that OC was not only AT this game, but he got himself front row seats and was decked out in blue and body paint yelling his heart out with some buddies of his. I was there, so didn't see him or the TV segment but hey, if it's on the radio. MUST BE TRUE!

Given some feisty conversations last week, I could easily have seen OC doing any number of other things while he sits out his suspension, but him being AT this game pulling for his team speaks volumes about who he is and what he can still do for our team.

BRAVO OC!! BRAVO!

That kind of thing gets around, and going to the game will speak louder than anything else he might have said on his behalf. I"m hoping this little suspension might be one of the best things that happens to him.

If this is true then this is one of the coolest things any BYU player has ever done.

They actually did show him on the jumbo tron. He had a B painted on his chest. It looked like they had worn shirts to the game and then pulled the front of their shirts over their heads so it showed the chest paint. When they showed the three people on the screen I thought I recognized OC but wasn't sure until they mentioned it on the radio after.

That was Chambers??? Haha... I didn't recognize Chambers, cause I thought only slow white boys painted BYU on their bodies at the games. That seriously threw me off and had me thinking.

Way to go Chambers!

I saw the guys painted with BYU on thier chests and noticed that they weren't caucasian but I didn't recognize Chambers. Linnette posted that they bleed blue so I guess this is one way that he showed that. A couple of years ago, Manase Tonga got suspended for a game, he also couldn't practice with the team until he completed some community service. He completed it way ahead of schedule so he could get back on the team ASAP. I don't know Chambers punishment but I wouldn't be suprised if it is a similar type of thing, that he has some community service that he has to do before being able to practice with the team. Wouldn't it be cool if he were able to do that early and get back to practice early. He would still not get to play the 2 games but he could practice. Anyway, just some thoughts.

I saw him and I'm pretty sure the "Y" was Brandon Davies. I recognized the "U" but couldn't place him. Maybe he was "TheOtherBlackGuyAtBYU" from the good ol' CougarBlue days.

It was Chambers with the B on his chest... We paused the game and grabbed a picture I have to verify. Also the one in the middle with the 'Y' on his chest was Ross Apo. :)

Why wouldn't Ross Apo have been on the sideline? He isn't suspended, just injured.

Hopefully his critics can focus on these actions instead of the others they love to talk about. It takes a lot of humility in my opinion to do what he did. I think chambers has shown that he is not a quitter and that he is willing to keep doing what he needs to do to be his best.

I agree. this is really good news for him. I was hoping this would be his attitude. I am very pleased that it is.

When I saw them on the jumbotron, I mentioned to my buddy that that was a superfan move, (because about 5 years ago school/church leadership discouraged painting your chests because of modesty.) You notice they all had their shirts close at hand. So they snuck it in, and I commended that.

Even better it turned out to be chambers and crew. Well played O'neill. Well played. Now get out there and be the best hybrid TE we ever had!

Just so you know, you can put videos in the video tags and it will show the video. You don't even have to edit the video url at all, just put the whole thing in there.

That is awesome - glad to see him there with a great attitude, that speaks volumes about his character.
