Anyone understand this?

Perhaps he is referring to the fact that 4 TEs played against Nevada that weren't thrown a pass. They just came in to block.

Actually had one pass. But if having the TE block gives Heaps more time, I'm all for it.

I think he was thinking of the pass caught by Mathews, who is listed as a wide not a tight end.

I know. Marcus Mathews is a TE (was converted from WR, unlike his little bro for next season). He's our best route runner at tight end too (and badly under-used, like so many other guys due to poor coaching), with the exception that Wilson is our best endzone TE.

I wish Bronco would just ban the use of Twitter during the season like a lot of other teams have done. Also should ban the players from posting football related stuff on Facebook during the season. It has only caused problems.

Its a sad thing, for all of us.

Watching Mathews (whatever he was WR or TE), he was lined up in the TE position and actually CAUGHT the ball--it was like a short sip of refreshing BYU BLue koolaid again watching that play. WOW--do we need a tightend. Not to mention, offensive continuity, QB to receiver familiarity, etc.

Like the announcers said of Collie and Manning--they spent alot of extra times in the summer and after practice,throwing routes and getting timing down. None of these guys had that advantage. We'll get there......by Utah! :-)

Wilson is starting to really annoy me. His use of facebook is lame. He is obviously quite into himself.
