I think his particular point was about being booed in his home stadium in his first game there as head coach trying to build confidence in a team he was trying to turn around after about three consecutive losing seasons.
He just needs to understand that he was new and inexperienced and not the fans first choice for HC and needed to pay his dues to earn the respect of a spoiled fan base even after three toturous years at the end of the Crowton Era.
Once BYU fans got over the long list of LDS and other former BYU tied coaches that were not even seriously interested in the Job and Bronco showed improvement in year 1 followed by 42 wins in 4 seasons - the fans will probably still boo him if we get behind UNR by 10 or more points - well maybe they just boo Anae or Hill or a player but Bronco will think they are booing him again - then he will bring up BC again and explain that fans are idiots again - vicious circular thing
