snoscythe(1) Get back in the booth. It was a marked and massive improvement when you and Doman switched places. Coming down to the sidelines this afternoon, especially where Doman stayed on the sidelines, was a step backwards and looked more like micromanagement than a well-thought out adjustment.
(2) Name a QB. I know--it's what the peanut gallery has been chanting since July, but at this point there's a new reason behind the chants: it's become painfully obvious that formulating two offensive schemes for two different players is beyond your skill-set. Short-cuts and omissions pepper your play-calling. You need to focus your talents. You are just spread too thin.
(3) Be aggressive and take it to the defense. Yeah, you've got youngsters at every skill position and they make mistakes, but you've got to push them if you want them to improve. Let them show you what they can or can't do. Don't you dictate to them through ultra-conservative play-calling what they can and can't do.
You're a great OC, but this year is getting away from you fast. It's better to do a few things well than to do many things poorly. Narrow your focus and let's get the offense back. We've just had back to back offensive outings worse than the 0-3 game against the U. Back to basics Robert. The new look plain sucks.
