Stadium Upgrade?

Just saw over on the traitor conference board (MWC forum) that a big donor has put up money to improve LES for the 2012 season. Any info about this?

I vote for mandatory blue shirts handed out at the gate, and no popped collars on any student coming to watch a game.

too bad I don't necessarily care about stadium upgrades, but it's better than the QB thing.

does this "upgrade" include fewer seats, more cushions and higher prices?

Here is the text from the "source" on the MWC board. I am sure this is totally legit.... :skeptic:

"BYU has just received a donation from a new donor to upgrade facilities at LES. No official announcement of what will change other that there will be noticeable changes after this season and completed for the 2012 season."

If BYU upgraded the stadium... There would be many "Satans" chastising us for the upgrade! I say put in three press boxes just to work'em up!

I'd heard it would all go to food subsidies, so hot dogs could be sold at 1996 prices.

A redesign that accommodates handicapped ticket holders without having to remove 300 other near-the-field seats (as they do currently) would be nice, though. And maybe a back to my end zone seat...

Randomly placed spring loaded seats on the blue-hair side of the stadium so they, too, can participate in Popcorn Popping.

Dang guys... You are behind the times. We tore that down last year! Fans were complaining they couldn't see the mountains during the games!
