It seems obvious to most people what the decision should be. Does Bronco see that or is he just saying what people want to here to buy more time?

Actually if you read the whole article he addresses that very question. He is not. Doman-Staley happend but we dont have a doman or a staley on this team. Also its okay to have a variance and to use the option but with balance and within the system.



BYU didn't look like BYU on Saturday with Riley running the show. We were wasting talent. Riley was just doing what he does and nobody, not even his offense line knew what he was going to do. It was ridiculous.

Usually I'm a big fan of Harmon. I have to admit, this time I didn't read the article.... I just read your snippet, as I was reading his analogy I immediatly thought of Doman and posted. Lesson to ABYUFAN...read ...article.... before.... commenting... on... it....

Good article. I belive the whole Riley thing came to be because coaches thought they might have the second coming of Doman but alas that has not proven to be true. Doman was more of a passer and to be fair to Riley, Doman's WR's could actually catch. And to be fair to the WR's, I think I blame the coaches for that because of inconsistency in who it getting the reps. Pick a guy and stick with him or her ;) ). The sad thing about this little "experiment" is that the conclusion will be the same as every other time it has occured. The coaches will have realized that they should have picked someone to start with. :bug: My advice is to sit down, ponder, discuss this as a staff, pray, and in the end go with that gut feeling. It's usually right. You can smooth over the "hurt" feeling later. Oh and you can always change QB's down the road if you need to.
