Oh shut up! [sound of slapping]

Would you guys settle down? Many of you seem to be cowriting the Trib's "Season on the brink" headline...all is not lost because of one miserable loss.



Did anyone notice that UW won it's game against 1-1 Syracuse? An expected win, but they nonetheless came through with 41 points. That suggests there's still something to our team, that the first week win wasn't just a fluke of nature, never to be repeated. Let's see what the coaches and players can do to regroup against a stiff FSU test, and how they handle Nevada at home, before we run around screaming the apocalypse has arrived.

I think there is still something to our team, but basing any hope at all on a performance involving UW (likely around a .500 team) and Syracuse (not even deserving of FBS status) is a very silly.

We are still on track to a 8 win or more season. Let's see how this week goes.
