Did anyone else hear TC's comments during the NM game? I turned it on to see how things were going just in time to hear him comment about Tenn. It went something like this (quoting as best as I can remember):



TC: "Did you say Tenn? Did you hear why there are no more lynchings in Tenn?"



JB: Crickets...



TC: "They only guy who knew how to tie the knot in the rope moved."



JB: Crickets... (Never said a word in comment to this)



TC: (After a second or two of very uncomfortable silence) "It was just a joke."



I rewound it to make sure that I heard what I did. I guess the reason it hasn't become an issue is that I was probably only 1 of 50 people watching that game for a few minutes.

If he really did say that, which, even for Todd Christensen is moronic, that's the kind of thing that will get a guy fired. How could anyone think that is an appropriate joke. I realize his intentions might have been good, that he probably just didn't think it through, but wow.

I rewound to make sure I heard it correctly. I quoted as closely as I could. I couldn't believe he said it either.
