Air Force Send off--crap!

For those of you at the game can you verify: after the game was over, AF played over its loud speakers the song "Hit the Road Jack" Real classy if you ask me. We salute them last year with a video honoring their service and they have to do that shiz...Real crappy if you ask me. I thought better of them

Cut blockin sons of ...guns. I'm good if we never play them ever again.



They are one of the dirtiest teams out there. I respect what the hell out of what they are doing off the field, and I tip my hat to them, but on the field they are dirty and I'd be happy to never have the chance of demolishing them again.

Ironically, Air Force players are some of most classless out there.

Really shows the difference between BYU and Air Force.

Those are my feelings too. Watching the game I said to myself, "I forgot how dirty Air Force is." Remember when DeBerry was still there and they had their way with us in 2002 and 2003?



Their play on the field does not match the class of the Academy and their service to the country.

I was at the game and let me tell you my feelings toward Air Force are totally different then what they were 2 weeks ago. Here is why:



1. They play dirty. There was a cheap shot on Jacobson. McKay got laid out coming across the middle and he was 20+ yards away from the ball. I'm glad they called it at least. The defensive line was barking out the snap count and was the cause for at least half of BYU's false starts. I saw AF players pulling and pushing on facemasks during pileups. I saw an AF player rip off Chambers' shoe after he'd been tackled forcing Chambers to come out of the game.



2. The fans are moronic. I was in the thick of AF fandom and I have never heard a more ignorant fan base in my entire life! And it was common sense stuff!!

* When Di Luigi fumbled and Chambers tried to pick it up there were multiple fans yelling that Chambers tried to throw the ball into the endzone and should be flagged for it. What would be the point of throwing the ball into the endzone? You can't advance the ball on a fumble. If the ball goes out of bounds in the endzone then it's AF's ball on the 20.



* When the AF defensive line would fall to the ground the BYU O-line would lay on top of them. The AF fans were screaming "Holding!" at the refs every time this would happen which is every other play. This is a totally legal move and every o-lineman at every level of football is taught to do this.



*My personal favorite: The penalty called on AF when they interfered with the punt returner. It seemed my entire section was irate with this call. They were yelling things like "The ball was uncatchable!!" You cannot hit the returner before he touches the ball, period. It doesn't matter where the returner is in relation to the ball. In this instance the hit came before the ball even touched the ground anyway!!
