BroncoBotI'm not going to point any fingers because it took a total team effort to lose like that. Especially in the second half when BYU mailed it in. Pathetic game. What really got me was BYU just bowing out after getting hit in the mouth. Sure, AFA threw some cheap shots, were being mean and aggressive (good for them), messing with the cadence, throwing blocks at knees (all of this should not be surprising when you play AFA), but where was BYU's pride and determination? It was like BYU did not want to be playing football yesterday.
BYU@afa in 2010 was the equivalent of BYU basketball @ UNLV 2009.
One thought I had during the game.
1. Nelson is simply tough as nails. If his teammates aren't giving their all for him- shame on them. Bronco isn't going to tolerate sulking, or dividing the team by lobbying for a certain Qb. There is no room for crap like that at BYU. Nelson is exactly the type of player you want to have on your team. Is he playing the position that highlights his strengths? Probably not. He would make one great safety. Too bad his BYU career will be over soon.
