We were fortunate to win the Washington game, but anyone who watches football on a regular basis could see that our team had a LOT to work on if we wanted to keep winning after the Washington game.

Well' I reckon they 'll work on some of those things this week. Do you suppose they were looking past AF?

PS - There are people on this forum with lots of experience playing and coaching. Hence the majority of users on this forum are disappointed with our performance today, and weren't completely happy with our performance in certain areas last weeks, either. Pretending people are on your side doesn't make it so.

To appease the great forum god Mars :roll: (because, for some reason, this particular thread was SO important for him to dredge up) , I will erase my own posts and sum up as such:



Italics has no experience whatsoever with football beyond watching it from his couch in his entire life. He didn't bring anything original to the discussion after the game last week and only parroted concerns that others had. Very few, if any, on the forum said that we would not lose a game or that we did not have problems to worry about, but asked that people keep in mind that we did win the game vs Wash and that at least a little celebration was in order. However, Italics took it upon himself after the game this week to rub the loss in the face of everyone who was happy about a win the week before as if he had predicted it all along and had vastly superior football knowledge, though he did not actually make a prediction himself, basically just sitting on the fence until after the game was over. I said that this was in poor taste, that voicing concerns and being pessimistic were two very different things, and that he really had no reason to start this thread in the first place. Italics did not address where he got his vast football knowledge and continued to call me fat (though it's better to be a little hefty and in shape than a super-skinny couch potato).



It's stupid to rub a loss in the face of your own fans, especially when you know very little about the sport.



I hope this appeases the great forum god, as he never engages in personal battles himself and has made it his personal mission to police the moderators and the forum, even on threads that are several days and three pages old :roll:
