Schedule coming together

It doesn't matter who we think we are, it's who Texas, Oregon, ND, and the other teams think we are and apparently, there appear to be some pretty impressive nobodies out there.

When I lived in Minneapolis, I always enjoyed Green's press conferences. Chuck full of gems like "Daunte's the Quaterback. Daunte's job is to drive the bus."

Rumor is 2 BCS teams will be added for 2011 and 2012. Each place rotating. Many think Clemson or UNC, and perhaps Arkansas. I'd be pleased with any of those.

Funny thing that on Sunday someone on TBS posts that a contract with UNC was signed and we would go there in 2011 and they would return to us the following year. I immediately checked some other sources and I didn't see that and went to Church. When I came back I started checking again and the whole thread was gone from TBS. So I don't know if that person wasn't supposed to let that known or what happened. It was the same person who had told me two hours before the announcement that BYU was going indy happened last week that it was coming that evening. I didn't doubt it for a minute because it would be very, very unusual for him to come out with something based on hearsay.



So I've been checking regularly and I've seen nothing, but now I'm expecting that announcement.

I heard Bronco say that the schedule for next year is set. I think I heard him say this on the post game show after the UW game. I am pretty sure he said that they had Hawaii as a school that they would play next year and that the schedule is already set and an announcement is supposed to come this week or next.

I was listening to that too. Wrubell asked him straight up if he thought we'd be playing at Hawaii next year and his response was "I think so" but it just seemed like something that was done but not really secured with pen and paper so I was excited to here that. I love the idea of having that 13 th game. Especially if, heaven forbid we can't find ourself a bowl game next year.

Come to Minnesota and play the Gophers in their nice, new stadium. Easy way to get a win over a Big 10 team!

Is there a risk we load up on too many good teams? I like a good schedule of home games (unlike this year sans UW) but we also dont want to have too tough of a schedule do we? (not TIC)

I don't know about you, but the home schedule of Delaware, Air Force, East Carolina, Troy and Army does not quite excite me for 2011. In 2012 at least they get Rutgers and Indiana at home.
